Please be advised that chocolate items may have to be substituted during hot summer months for items which are heat tolerant.
Each gift is shipped in its own shipping box and therefore shipping fees apply to each gift item, even if it is being shipped to the same address.
CANPAR:
Deliveries are made between 9 and 6 EST Monday to Friday excluding holidays. CANPAR does not provide time specific deliveries for either ground or SELECT shipments (eg. by 12pm). CANPAR does not phone to arrange deliveries for either ground or SELECT shipments. Delivery times (eg. 1 day) are estimates and are not guaranteed, unless SELECT shipping is chosen. SELECT service does not apply between December 18 and January 2. Shipment times reflect business days(Mon-Fri). We are unable to deliver to PO box addresses. Shipping to remote locations in Canada, may require more time and an increase in cost of shipping. We are not in any form responsible for delays due to weather or other acts of God.
Hospital/Retirement/Colleges/and the like
Bella Basket Boutique will not be held responsible for baskets that have been delivered to shipping and receiving, but not forwarded to the patient/student/recipient by the accepting facility.
Non-Delivery/Re-Delivery
If a recipient is not at home or place of business when a gift is delivered, a note will be left on the door instructing the recipient to either call the number provided to arrange for delivery or to sign the note with instructions on where to leave the gift for a re-delivery attempt the following business day. Due to their nature, no such notice will be left at apartments or office buildings. After two attempts, the gift will be returned to us. We will inform you immediately for further delivery instructions. An extra delivery charge will apply. If we do not hear back from you within 2 weeks of our contact, no refund will be applicable at this point.
Incorrect Address
If a basket is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by you, we will contact you immediately for a correction, and the package will be re-shipped at an additional shipping fee. The customer is fully responsible for providing a complete and correct address as well as recipients contact phone #.
NSR (No Signature Required)
If requested by you, we will forward instructions to leave the gift on the porch or by the back door with a "NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED" sticker. However, we assume no responsibility for the package against theft, weather, or any other occurrence, once the package has been left in the requested location.
Shipping Tax Calculations
Taxes are calculated based on the location of where the gift is being sent. Choosing the correct province/state is crucial during the ordering process to calculate these taxes correctly. If chosen incorrectly, we will contact you with any changes prior to processing.
